Translumia

In the spring of 2026, a humanities scholar sat alone in his study. Before him lay a manuscript — three hundred pages of comparative mythology, twenty years of notes, and a question that had followed him across languages and continents: what does it mean to translate a thought from one civilization into another?

In reconstructed Old Chinese phonology, the word for "the Way" — Dao (道) — was once pronounced *Lu. That ancient syllable, buried under three millennia of sound change, was already a whisper of illumination. Translumia inherits that hidden lineage: the light that carries meaning across. The light that, in carrying, transforms.
